The Garner Town Council approved to move forward with plans for Beacon Commerce Park, a 48 acre master-planned industrial park at Jones Sausage Rd. and Wilmington Rd. in Garner. Located 0.5 miles from I-40 Exit 303, Beacon Commerce Park’s first phase will consist of two buildings that total 280,147 square feet and 89,932 square feet respectively.

The modern buildings will include two-story glass entries with concrete tilt-wall construction, clear heights from 30-to-36 feet and full concrete truck courts from 130-to-180 feet. An additional pad will be available to accommodate up to +/- 300,000 square feet in the second phase of construction for up to a park total of +/- 670,079 square feet. “We are positioning Beacon Commerce Park to be one of the area’s premier business parks,” says Gregg Sandreuter, Managing Partner with HM Partners.

“Beacon Commerce Park helps to establish our continued effort to expand our industrial presence throughout the Carolinas,” said Tim Robertson, Director of Industrial Leasing at Beacon Partners. “We are very focused on growing our portfolio of industrial real estate holdings that have ready access to manufacturers, customers, suppliers and vendors along the Carolinas’ core transportation corridor. “The opening of the Office Ours location in Garner will add an amenity to our town that can help our small business community continue to meet their changing needs” said Joe Stallings Economic Development Director.

“This type of industrial space will allow us to continue to recruit new companies to our community,” said Joe Stallings Economic Development Director. “The new Beacon Commerce Park is strategically located within the Triangle and is perfect for life sciences, advance manufacturing and other companies looking to take advantage of the incredibly rich labor pool we have in our area..”

Construction is scheduled to start in April. Robertson will handle leasing along with Ann-Stewart Patterson and Austin Nagy of CBRE. Merriman Schmitt is the architect with Advanced Civil Design as engineer, Choate Construction as general contractor, and Bank of America as lender.
