GARNER, North Carolina – Greenhawk Corporation has announced plans to develop a 73,000-square-foot flex/life science building at 350 Hein Drive in Garner, North Carolina. The company plans to break ground in January 2022, and completion is slated for the fourth quarter of 2022.

Doug Cook of Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to oversee leasing for the project.

“350 Hein Drive positions Garner as a viable new submarket for the proliferation of life science into the Greater RTP region,” Cook said. “The combination of a life science-enabled facility and Garner's Business Investment Grant program create an attractive and financially-incented destination for life science companies.”

“This a new and exciting opportunity for our community,” said Mayor Ken Marshburn.  “As we continue to seek out ways to diversify our local economy, we see great promise in the life science sector.  Garner is committed to working with Doug and his team at Cushman & Wakefield to bring jobs and investment to this new life science/flex space in our town.”

Located southeast of Raleigh near the intersection of Interstate 40 and Bus-70, 350 Hein Drive is conveniently accessible from Raleigh and uniquely positioned to benefit from the planned extension of Interstate 540. The building will include 24' clear heights and ample infrastructure to support R&D and cGMP production needs. Life science, technology, and advance manufacturing companies are eligible for tax incentives up to 90% as part of the Business Investment Grant program.
